patterns on the lake. The first striper pattern is points and flats from the mouth of the creeks to all the way in the back of the creeks. The second is an
open water bite from Browns Bridge to 6mile and
even some spots further
south. We have been fishing both patterns with the same techniques by using both free lines with herring and small trout 120 feet back
and planner boards with bait at varying distances from 25 feet to 100 feet. Use
both weighted and un-weighted lines to cover more of the water column. The open
water bite is different but has been a very good bite for the past few years.
The weather looks like it will be getting warmer and we have been enjoying some beautiful Sunrises and some nice sized Spotted Bass.
