So I went further in Schooling taking more classes for my 100 ton Maters upgrade. That upgrade allows you to operate an Inspected Vessel up to 100 tons with as many passengers that it’s inspected to have for pay.
I am truly happy, honored & blessed to say after all the hard work that I
am now a USCG Master Captain certified in CPR & First Aid.
Now to what y’all are looking for, here is my Fishing Report for April Heading
into May. Striper Fishing in April has been both good and bad. With the water
temps finally into the 60's it is nice that things are finally starting to warm
up along with fishing. Over the month we have caught stripers daily and tons of
spotted bass but you have to keep a close eye on how the day looks. I have
caught fish from Bald Ridge Creek all the way up the Chattahoochee River and the
Chestatee River. From what I see one isn’t better than the other right now.
The thing that has worked the best is covering a lot of water with planner
boards and flat lines really early in the morning. I have been fishing mid creek
to open water, hitting points and humps and everything in between using Herring
trying not to stay in one place to long. The bigger fish are still very spread
out which is not the case for the smaller 3 to 6 pound fish are showing up in
good schools up the rivers and on south end creeks.
Any questions on trips or fishing feel free to email.
Hope to see y’all on the pond soon
