Saturday wasn't a great day of fishing for me, we got a late start and just missed the bite and struggled to find fish willing to eat. It really does prove that sometimes like Friday the first light bite is the best fishing and if you miss that time, you are in for a long day.
Monday I had the pleasure of taking Cody out fishing which was a birthday gift from his fiancee JoJo. We got out before 7am and tied into our 1st fish within 10 minutes of putting out lines. We boated over a half dozen Stripers and Spots.
Most of the bite was before 8:30 am. After 8:30 the bite slacked off. Free line blue back herring accounted for most of our hits. We did catch one nice Striper on a medium shad weighted after 9am and most of our Spots hit after 9am which kept us busy all morning.
Fishing trips make an excellent present for all occasions and we are happy to supply you with a nice gift certificate
The fish have entered their late Spring patten, there still is time save on a trip and to catch a few before summer!
